BAPEN Membership at greatly reduced prices
Great News! SASPEN Members can now join BAPEN (British Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition) at a greatly reduced fee.
BAPEN have recently created electronic educational resources for our members particularly some nutritional care and 'MUST' e-learning modules, ‘decision tree algorithms’ and expert interactive conference presentations from our
2013 and 2014 annual meetings. Since many other countries have adopted some of our resources (especially the 'MUST' screening tool which has been translated it into 5 languages), we now feel that we should make these materials available to health professionals of other nations who might be interested. We therefore want to offer such individuals BAPEN overseas membership at very reduced rates.
Joining BAPEN as an overseas individual member would allow:
a. full access to our e-learning resources;
b. Full access to a range of other resources such as the 'Malnutrition Community Pathway', the 'BAPEN Commissioning Toolkit' and out 'Malnutrition Matters Commitment to Act Guide' all of which are potentially useful in promoting better nutritional care in all health settings within the ENHA inititiative;
c. Discounted registration costs for individuals planning to come to this or future years' UK Digestive Diseases Federation meetings - major international events offering clinical and translational research symposia, clinical updates and state of the art lectures on gastroenterology, GI surgery and hepatology (and the many overseas BAPEN members who cannot attend UKDDF meetings in person, will be able to access all of the nutritional care orientated talks from those meetings).
The overseas BAPEN individual member application form can be found at http://www.bapen.org.uk/join-bapen with our special reduced annual rate of only £25 (payable in £, Euros or US$).
